the hammered remake of the king henry vii coin is great, , the small details like the doubling on the lettering and the rim dings on the edge are a nice touch by royal mint, , the elizabeth the 1st and charles, and henry the 8th remakes are the ones im looking forward too..(i wonder if the will do any saxon/norman cnut or or william the conquerer...an super gothic gold..wow...really like the platinum 5 0z too, , the gold gothic is way out of my league, , id be lucky to get a silver version.

I'm sure you heard about the 13th century Henry III gold penny found in Devon.I couldn't even imagine finding something like that.Royal Mint did an amazing job on those new gold coins 👍 I've told you this before, but it's pretty amazing to live in a city whose history goes back 2 millennia, during the time of Claudius

I looked up the Monarchs series. I have a long wait because the only one I'm interested in is Victoria. England had Queen Victoria --- a few boring Kings -- then Queen Elizabeth.

Mounted her madge is fab. And the Platinum coin is more appropriate than the gold in this case. Perhaps this Jubilee will reignite interest in the metal. hah.

I fear support for "VIP" programs may not be very high. LOL. Ridiculous IMO. Also, no accounting for test on the platinum Jubilee coins as I know a few that are not thrilled with the design. As for the Monarchs series -why? I just don't get the absolute plethora of offerings now & let us not forget the Snowmen, comics characters, Britannias, Queen's Beasts, Tudor Beasts, regular issues, special silver pennies, and on and on and on and on.
