Every single time I see that last scene where Bee says "I guess... there's a lot we don't know about each other." and Puppycat responds with "What's your favourite colour?" it gets me. I think it's that whole thing that your real friends don't care WHAT you are, it's who you are.

there is something deeply sad about this show. I don't know how to explain it. It's not just the kid taking care of his mother. Or Bee possibly being a robot. It's not even Deckard being depressed for whatever reason. It's something deeper.

Nobody didn't even realize the Spirited Away reference at the cat bathhouse? No Face running to catch Chihiro at the movie, and a bunch of cats trying to catch Bee at the episode. Amazing how they actually did this reference!

I just watched some of the Netflix one with my girlfriend tonight and was so intrigued, looked it up and discovered this! I really like this show, it’s hilarious and it’s also got a lot of depth in terms of emotional impact and it just pulls me in for reasons beyond my understanding. I hope they don’t cancel it this time.

They say no-one can tell you're in love, that you just know it in your soul. Well if I know one thing, it's that Bee and Puppycat (2018) is my favourite animated series of all time. Times change, perhaps in the future this will not be true. But for all the traumatic experiences I've had I haven't found a single piece of art that makes me feel whole again, as this does.
