Nine years after the first posting of Natasha Allegri’s Bee and Puppycat short on Cartoon Hangover, the debut of the long-awaited “Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space” debuted
on Netflix on September 6th, 2022!

Bee, a reluctant hero, becomes entangled in the adventures of a puppy (…or is he a cat?) as they travel between reality and the void of Fishbowl Space. Created by Natasha Allegri, character designer and storyboard artist for Adventure Time. We can neither confirm nor deny the autobiographical nature of Bee and PuppyCat.

Jesus Chris I remember binging this series when I was a teenager and coming back to it every couple years for the mems. To this day I still regularly quote “you took too long now yo candies gone.” Im so happy this is happening

I cried so hard watching this. I've watched this show since a friend introduced it to me when I was 14. I'm 26 now. I wear my Bee and Puppycat belt everyday to work. I've told so many people about how cute this show is. Seeing this trailer was unbelievable. I am so happy this show has a home. Hoping for a long run! Love you all!!!

I remember first seeing this and being sucked in. I then showed my husband who immediately said "next episode!" Then I showed my daughter when she was born and then my son. Now they both ask to see this show all the time and when I saw the trailer announcement yesterday I screamed and yelled and cried and called everyone 😭

Nine years. NINE years. I kickstarted this cartoon when I was still in COLLEGE. I am now a full grown ADULT and about to turn THIRTY.

I hope this season is worth the wait.

I never thought this show would actually become a SHOW. I was in middle school when it came out and remember loving it to death and always being sad and wishing there was more. NOW THERE IS? I am so so so proud of the creator for sticking to their dreams and goals and making this magical world take off to new heights.

Also I often say, "You took too long. Now your candy's gone. That's what happened. BKOW!" though replace "candy" with other things. I loved this show and am going to watch the HECK out of it when it comes out. I am so excited that this wholesome memory of my younger years has returned. I will always cherish the original episodes, but I am ready to cherish the rest of what has been created as well. This show will always hold a special place in my heart. 💜

I love that this has a more cohesive story now I bet it's really cool to create a big thing like this, but I think I'll always love the original clips as they were, more for my brain to interpret its own meaning and feelings, I think they'll always have a special place in my brain and my heart.
