Landlords are the worst!
I went into a customers home where the water heater was spewing water due to a hole in the tank and the land lot just told me to shut valve to the WH off. I HATE DEALING WITH THEM THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE EVERYTIME!

It is such a depressing legal system in the USA. It is almost like landlord expects to earn money. 😒 That is NOT how investments work. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And you can mitigate the risk by doing many things. Such as proper research. 😒 Yeah I am not American but this shouls be illegal.

“Fix this but nothing else” is EXACTLY why I got out of residential work, as well as working for landlords.

The vast majority of landlords are parasitic scumbags that shouldn’t be allowed to manage a sub shop in a low traffic bus station, and they seem to always find people even more terrible than them to manage their properties.

It’s sad because I do enjoy helping people out, and I enjoy talking to people, and love solving problems, but in an industry populated with the horrible people, it just got so exhausting having to constantly work around the bigger issues and bandaid over and over again.

It's faster, easier and cleaner to connect the air admittance valve to the riser before putting it into the sanitary tee

Yup i work in property management of rental properties and yeah some owners are nice and dont complain about sending plumbers to repair and remodeling damages others dont care . So its not a suprise i see bandaids all the time and i feel bad for some tenants.
