Excited to try this on a cabinet frame near a sink.

You can water down a little bit of wood glue instead of buying the zap glue. Doing it for years and works great.

This is great. I have a small spot on my MDF baseboard and was trying to figure out how to repair it without having to pull up the entire length & replace.

Can you please share what you used to spray on top of the 'gap filling' CA glue? A hardener or accelerator of some kind?

Great video. Thanks. How do you do the edge of a corner unit with water damage? When removing the damage this would create an uneven edge where the mdf originally was. Even more difficult when on a curve decorative section. This only shows a flat surface which looks easier to fill/sandpaper. I would send a photo but it won’t let me attach?!

Found this with meta AI. :-
Sanding Super Glue (cyanoacrylate) can be done, but it requires caution and proper safety measures. Here's what you need to know:

# Safety Precautions
1. *Wear protective gear*: Use a dust mask or respirator, safety glasses, and gloves to prevent inhalation of fumes and particles.
2. *Work in a well-ventilated area*: Open windows and doors to ensure good airflow, as cyanoacrylate fumes can be hazardous.
3. *Avoid sanding over finished surfaces*: If the Super Glue is on a finished surface, sanding can damage the surrounding material.

# Sanding Tips
1. *Use a low-grit sandpaper*: Start with a coarse grit (about 120-150) to remove excess glue, then progress to finer grits (220-240) for smoothing.
2. *Sand in small areas*: Focus on small sections to maintain control and avoid spreading the glue.
3. *Apply light pressure*: Sand gently to avoid generating excessive heat, which can cause the glue to melt or become brittle.
4. *Use a sanding block*: A sanding block can help keep the sandpaper flat and prevent uneven sanding.

# Additional Considerations
1. *Cyanoacrylate can be brittle*: Sanding can cause the glue to crack or break away, so be gentle and patient.
2. *Some Super Glue products may contain fillers*: These fillers can make the glue more difficult to sand, so adjust your technique accordingly.

By following these guidelines and taking necessary safety precautions, you can successfully sand Super Glue. However, if you're unsure or uncomfortable with the process, consider consulting a professional or seeking alternative methods.

Nice job, buy my cabinet is not a solid color. My cabinet end panel is a wood grain package. What would you do in that situation?

Perfect! My entire bathroom cabinet is splits and puffy parts, and replacing it really isn't an option. This? this looks doable.

Great idea I would like to try. I was very worried about the dust when sanding super glue though and if it might contaminate the area.
I could not find anything on that and I did check a safety data sheet for super glue but it did not mention anything about dust hazard.
Anyone have any info?
The glue is a.k.a cyanoacrilic I think so I thought it would be very dangerous dust containing cyanide and maybe other nasty chemicals?

I wonder if a paint on glue, maybe pva, would be a safer option

1:32 "You only get one shot"... not really. You can easily fill MDF with something like Dyna Patch, sand it, seal it, and paint it and you wouldn't even see where the repair was done.

Do you use the acceleration spray on the pink ca glue or only the green?
