With the eggs, the first one would be on one of the corners then after that it becomes a symmetry game. If I take 1, then it's 12, 7, 6, then follow that pattern as I work inward towards the middle. It's all about the carton not weighing too much more on one side vs the other.

This is the 1st episode where I greatly agreed with Link most of the time

you have to choose one of the eggs from the middle! You then start grabbing eggs on the opposite side from the missing ones to make sure the carton is balanced and won't fall if it's placed precariously

I have one of them egg tray/holder things in my fridge, when I get new eggs I draw Xs on all the old eggs so I know to use them first.
