Hey, I returned three mouse and still had the same issue.
Last week, I noticed there's actually a firmware update on Logitech's website, I did the update and it fixed the problem.
Now, I can say it was a great mouse.
Search for "G703 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse Firmware Update"

In case you cant RMa your mouse and have to do fix yourself:

The reason wheel goes bananas is because kailh(encoder manfacturer) didn't clean their component correctly after assembly.
To fix the it you simply have to dissasemble the mouse and then clean encoder with nonconductive isopropyl alcohol(99% purity to avoid damage to the mouse!!) and by clean i mean really drench that thing in it. Do it for at least 5 minutes. After that re-assemble the mouse and enjoy.
