How to fix scrolling issues/ jumping on logitech G703! (i have tried blowing it out, didnt work for me)

This is actually a hardware issue with the mouse itself in the scroll wheel housing internally

The update work temporarily about 2 weeks but now the problem is back. It works perfectly when wired, but the problem comes when it is wireless, anyone knows what to do? replacement is not an option as I lost the reciept

the problem is with the stepcounter itself -i took one apart and it was all greacy inside, cleaned it up, resoldered it back and problem is fixxed

In case you cant RMa your mouse and have to do fix yourself:

The reason wheel goes bananas is because kailh(encoder manfacturer) didn't clean their component correctly after assembly.
To fix the it you simply have to dissasemble the mouse and then clean encoder with nonconductive isopropyl alcohol(99% purity to avoid damage to the mouse!!) and by clean i mean really drench that thing in it. Do it for at least 5 minutes. After that re-assemble the mouse and enjoy.

Firmware update, fixed it until I did a software update...Problem is back...

Downloaded but it says no receiver found. I have my logitech g703 plugged in with usb cable, but its not detecting it. Cant install the drivers :/

This method will fix mouse wheel only temporarily, it will be back, i guarantee it. I also noticed that whenever i unscrew entire mouse to mess with the encoder it works perfectly for a day, and i haven't yet figured out why.

Anyhow, this tutorial is preety much useless <thumbs down>

and here I am, bought this expoensive thing while I have a taiwanese brand nobody heard about called Ducky (mouse name, ducky secret) which is built 5x times better out of PBT, no issues, bought this g703 for wireless, EXTREMELY
