▶️ In today's video, we're going to introduce How Africa is Becoming The New China In Manufacturing

Ultimately, the African Union IT team removed these Chinese servers and installed new ones as it was found that The building was bugged. Similarly, the Chinese Import-Export bank handed Sri Lanka $307 million for a port that everyone told the president wouldn't be successful. Sri Lanka has a staggering $4.7 billion in debt to be paid to China by the end of 2015. It drowned in debt payments and left a costly port. Eventually, China controls 85 percent of that port, squeezing 15,000 acres of land surrounding that port. In the world, Africa is one of the most underdeveloped regions, and this lack of development facilitates rapid economic development. Natural resource exploitation is often the initial stage in the process of economic growth in many nations. Almost every country has a certain amount of natural resources that may be utilized to jumpstart economic development. But first and foremost, they must have the funds to construct the infrastructure and undertake the activities required to collect these natural resources. Today, China finds itself in a similar situation. They urgently need energy, money, and resources to continue their meteoric ascent to the mountain's summit. China has overtaken the United States in terms of oil imports, and the country imports a third of its oil from Africa and 20% of its cotton. Africa is home to half of the world's manganese used in steel manufacturing and a slew of other metals used in electronics manufacturing. By investing in African mining and farming, China can benefit from Africa's development while also supplying minerals and food to the Chinese economy, which needs minerals and nutrition.

As a result, Chinese manufacturing companies are establishing their own businesses in African countries. And it seems that China is the only country prepared to take such a risk.

Africa is no longer subservient to the United States, as most of the continent has allied itself with China, the world's fastest-growing superpower in economic and political influence. The apparent explanation for this is that China has poured massive sums of money into the country. A journey to the African continent in search of allies.

Travel the same distance between Philadelphia and Boston aboard The Acela Express, the fastest train in the United States. Chinese engineers also constructed a dam in Guinea, costing $526 million, which has assisted the nation in transitioning from a state of continuous power shortages to producing more electricity than it requires and exporting the excess to neighboring countries. As part of its infrastructure development in Ethiopia, China constructed a $475 million light rail system in the capital. It is the first of its type in Sub-Saharan Africa. These are just a few examples of projects being developed to alleviate traffic congestion in major cities. Yearly, hundreds of additional Chinese infrastructure projects are completed all across Africa. Africa's economy is being transformed due to China's participation in initiatives both large and small. In international relations, there is no such thing as a gift. Everything comes with conditions. China has traditionally not had many friends to invest in its future as a global powerhouse.

Chinese investment in Africa has accelerated as a result, and the nation has used its financial might to establish diplomatic relations with almost every country in the region. That one nation in the South, Swaziland, has, of course, been the only one to refuse to participate in all of this, even though it is a small nation. China has been prosperous in acquiring all of these nations in these regions. Furthermore, Swaziland has decided to stop recognizing Taiwan and to instead back China. These investments are also a component of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), also known as the New Silk Road, one of the most massive infrastructure projects ever envisioned and part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)launched in 2013 by President Xi Jinping.

Nothing is going to turn out good for africa unless they do things for themselves. First off they can start by ousting their corrupt leaders and replace them with good new leaders like Paul Kigame.

seeing misunderstandings of china and some worries in the comments: saying is china another britain empire? or is china gonna be another superpower overshadowing africa like what the US and the West did to to other countries? Just wanna make something clear. but first of all, please try to calmly read the words below, and it would be much appreciate if you could think in the chinese philosophical mindset (will be explained a bit at the end) instead of Western mindsets!

So, to answer the questions: no, china is not the same as the West at all! china trade with african countries, but britain and other colonialists rob. china brought modern infrastructures, but britain brought colonization, opiums and dumpings. china sees africa as a brother, while colonialists sees colony as their servants, or even worse, not human at all.

Not mentioning most of the infrastructures are foundation stones for africa's future blooming, Chins is not only helping constructing infrastructures in trading for goods, chinese companies and programmes help the locals to have career trainings, in argricuture, engineering, service industries and etc, . There is an old saying in china: giving someone fish is no good, while giving the method of fishing is a better gift. so at the end of the day, when chinese leave, africans can run everything by themselves easily.

african countries are china's friends, so we are seeking win-win situations. not like the old britain empire or other colonialists, china and africa are in equal status. one more thing to be noted, both china and africa were used to be colonized in the past, we share the same pain in the history and don't want this happen again. And china always remebers and being grateful when the new modern china showed up in UN, it was our African brothers with other international friends gave us supports (this is an important part in our history class with a full module of the friendships between china and african countries in our modern history textbook).

it might be hard to understand chinese's way of thinking (a mixture of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Legalism and Mohism) that WE JUST HATE Colonialism, and we admire Hamony unless someone offends us in the first place. Colonialism can only bring short term benefits from robbing and dumping from their colonies, while in the long term, it will embed hatreds or other crisis.

Africa is a beautiful land with beautiful cultures, they deserve better life and future, a win-win friendship is better than anything. ppl talk about american dream, while there is a China Dream too! We are seeking the world hamony, dated back before 2000 yrs ago:

先秦《礼记•礼运》:

各美其美,

美人之美;

美美与共,

天下大同。

Translation
The Book of Rites (Confucian classic):

Achieving one's own goal yields gratification,

Lending a hand to consummate others' goal doubles satisfaction.

Goals of self and others can be unified,

thus the world can be harmonized.

China’s growth will always be antagonised, especially that it’s this ‘outsider’ which is playing a different game and succeeding at luring the third world.

I’m an African, and my interest is not for Africa to always affiliate itself for validation; but neocolonialism has it’s ways.
And what the world is witnessing is Africans weighing that less has come out of the West, and instead, the East is the future - and for sure, we’re able to see development aided by China and Russia, regardless of the so said exorbitant costs; and ‘dubious motives’.

But really, which country or centre of power ever approaches another, in this case African countries, to merely help?
They’re are all dubious, and we’re trying to exercise our sovereignties to benefit more from what is certainly, inevitable outsider encroachment.

Great content. All your videos are high quality and filled with well researched information, even if there is a plethora of stock footage. At least they are pretty and in high def.

I thought you would have +100k subs, but that’s surprisingly not the case. These videos need more views, they are too good to just have a few hundred. Don’t worry, one exceptionally popular video is all you need and the algorithm will bless your hard work.
