They _demanded_ words, and now words are not enough. Unbelievable...

Can the first "nations" define exactly what they need for them to move on and become productive members of society??? Who exactly needs to apologize, what words they need to use and how much money are they expecting?

Stop blaming everyone . Laying a big guilt trip on everyone . The people involved did the best they could at the time . No one could have done any better and nothing can change anything now .

Hope he brings his cheque book because that's all this is about. Nothing will ever be enough, the favorite saying is "It's a first step"!

Hope everyone also knew that there was not a single body found from the most recent accusation about residential school. They dug and found none.

Maybe the pope can also pray for all the victims of indigenous crime being terrorized in the rural areas of Canada, where is there reconciliation

"words are not enough" - What is enough? At some point in time we have to move on from this. We have to pick ourselves up and stop using it as a crutch for all the problems.

Apparently they are enough to blame the church. Start digging up some graves and provide evidence. Otherwise stop with the mass grave nonsense. BTW I loved that video that showed a reporter trying to talk to a chief at a band office and was ignored. LOL they even closed the gates so no one could access the band office. Raises red flags. I am all for blaming anyone who does bad things but you have to prove it. I feel like an idiot for buying into this stuff assuming graves were dug up and forensics were done, when in fact nothing has been done but assume and blame.

Ok if this is the way it's going for past grievances then i want compensations for things done to my family and ancestors from Germany, Japan, England, Rome, rich people and the present Canadian government

Imagine being naïve enough to think that the apology wouldn't do anything but divide further.
