Good to know they have private ones for peopoe with tattoos! I didn't realize until it was much too late that tattooed people can't go into onsens. Makes me happy that I can still get the experience, and some added privacy!

I ordered a custom Japanese soaking tub when I remodeled my 1958 bathroom. It’s not quite the same as an onsen, but close enough. Absolutely awesome, with Epsom salts with spearmint and tea tree=heaven.

I looked it up. it's a rodeo saddle. Like a smaller tamer version of a rodeo robot ride.
Its supposed to help strengthen core muscles.

That saddle thingy is a "riding simulator", it mimics the movemnts of a horse and helps you unlock/relax/stretch your pelvis 😂 it can probably be used for something else but that's the use 🤗

You should weigh yourself before AND after bathing. If there is a substantial difference, you need to reconstitute yourself with corresponding amount of mineral water, else you will have dehydration sickness next morning! See it's possible to lose LITRES and not notice it, and your natural thirst is suppressed because you're surrounded by water.

Quick note, tattoo stigma is based on racism as well as fear of Yakuza. Anti-tattoo laws were historically meant to repress Ainu traditions as part of the Japanese Empire's attempts to remove all traces of the indigenous Japanese ciltures
