I don’t get why those who don’t like LQG, like String Theory. If ST fails many other requirements, it seems that
Roger Penrose is correct, that it’s a fashion.

String theory seems like a massive useless distraction.
He seems to push it dogmatically. He doesn't seem to respect philosophy.
He knows his physical world well but he doesn't seem to think very deep. Curt asked him about consciousness and he automatically feels the need to tell people how they should calculate their answer instead of just trying to answer.

I wish Sean would bite the bullet and become an idealist. It would be really cool to have someone's of Sean's intellectual prowess finally get that physicalism is nonsensical and that physics deals with the behavior of Nature, but mind is what really IS.
