Listen—I'm from Canada, and I remember walking down the street in my hometown of Montreal one day, and this cute little white toddler came up to me on the street and said "Hi!" several times with a big smile on her face. I immediately stared looking around to see whether there was anybody on the street watching (or recording me on their phones), then turned back to the girl and hesitantly said, "Uhhh...errrr...hello...?" Then I looked up and saw her parents coming up the sidewalk behind her to retrieve her with smiles on their faces, too. They said, "Don't worry, she's just very friendly." Only then did I *begin* to relax. 😬

I had incident at work like this. A white baby boy was in a grocery cart and the kid was by himself and i asked him where his mom was and the mom walked up 20 seconds later. She thought i was trying to take her child. I had to explain myself and there was peace and understanding. Lady said she dont like strangers near her child. Im thinking why the child is by himself in the first place.
