"We don't have to worry about jack because he can't get pregnant" I'm so glad Diane called him out because that floored me. Dre is the kind of person that thinks raising their voice adds more validity to their point.

little black girls are too “grown” but little black boys are “players”. No sense

I remember when they brought up the topic of double standards when Dre was bragging about Junior losing his virginity, but then getting upset when he learned Zoe had lost hers. You can't make progress with double standards.

I like that they’re focusing more on jack and Diane. Now that they’re growing up they have much more complex storylines. And I’m here for it.

It's funny cause a man can get a different woman pregnant every day for a year if he wanted to. A woman can only get pregnant once a year and yet we bear the biggest burden of not being 'too sexual'

Diane was right. She had a point. Jack can get a girl pregnant and that should not make him be any less responsible just because he is a boy.

I swear, Diane is the only voice of reason in that house sometimes. Her and Zoë.

So Jack can make out with a girl in the stairwells at school and gets nothing but praise, meanwhile Diane can’t wear another boys sweatshirt? Interesting

I agree with Diane. The "he cant get pregnant" comment is still to this day one of the most ignorant of all ignorant comments. As if girls miraculously become pregnant on their own.

Any girl alive (or dead ), anywhere on this planet belonging to any culture can relate to this.

In my opinion, Diane has THE hardest plight of all the children. First the colorism now her being a female. Marsei plays this character well, but the things that go on with her character on this show are very disheartening.

I am really sick of adults ignoring good points made by their children just cause they think they know best because they’re older

I pray Hollywood doesn't destroy this beautiful young lady. I can see her doing great things for younger generations, being a role model for young women.

“So I have the right to do what I did but I shouldn’t have done it?”
That pretty much sums up what being a woman feels like

I'm the only girl amongst my siblings; this episode triggered the HELL out of me.

Any other only-girls can relate?

Diane brought up a point people love to ignore. The “he can’t get pregnant” argument is all fun and games until he’s dropping off babies at your house to raise since the mom and the moms family got fed up while he goes and does what he wants to do. Too many grandparents are raising grandkids because they don’t realize that they’ve instilled the “deadbeat” mindset of little to no accountability for boys.

"I really support this boys will be boys thing"
Mom says "not now"

Noooo. NOW is the time to talk about it. I think that was Diane's whole point.
