This guy would make a great sports commentator in a National Lampoon film. This is supposed to be a compliment!

Adding to your point about trading with the AI, this is more important and effective the higher the difficulty is. AI tends to be poor in Prince/King, so they won't have much money to give you. At Immortal/Deity, AI has a huge money boost, so there's more for you to take to help you catch up.

Working my way up to Emperor difficulty, this video will be super instrumental in determining how well it goes. Love the vids!

16:00 ruhr is good even with no mines. Go for it if you dont have anything important to do in that moment while you are waiting for research labs

Im learning what gives adjacency bonuses for each. Mts and rainforest for science. Ocean resources for harbors. River, harbor, citycenter, for economic. Its helping recognize good spots, and pinning them.

Tip 5 is the most important imo. Undervalued. Also early districts being the best possible is huge

Planning your districts is all well & good until you find iron right in the middle of your planned district cluster. If you could see strategics from turn 1 my cities in most of my games would have insane adjacency.

22:00 if you miss out on a wonder just get an entertainment complex for major adjacency too.

Great video. I much prefer the how-to style over the “let’s play” style.

16:55 venetian arsenal is a must have in every game. Even in a highlands map

Which "game modes" would you consider the "standard" Civ 6 Gathering Storm game today? Personally, I use Heroes & Legends, Secret Societies and Tech & Civic Shuffle modes in the same game.

23:50 you dont need to many units. 3 ranged units are good enough. Later one by turn 150 you should get some more if your relationships arent the best. Having a good gold income is better bc you can spawn an army anywhere

On rivers, aqueducts and dams give Industrial districts huge boosts. You can have multiple cities, with Industrial districts next to each other. Add the 100% Industrial card... oh baby.

So certain buildings and districts go together. Add in economic dists, who doesnt love production and gold?

I want to say that you shouldnt go for early game wonders if you have a low production capital. And if you do have a plan for how you are gonna catch up on setling.

Making Mondays something to look forward to? heckin yeah! love this series concept, really great reminders. even though some of the tips are review for me I'm definitely guilty of forgetting so it's still super helpful, and I know a few folks who I could and will pass it on to who would greatly benefit too.

This has got to be one of the best videos that I've watched in a while. Even though I know most of the stuff that was in it, I tend to forget on a regular basis. This just emphasized how important certain things are it is really going to help me bring back into Focus my game. I'm definitely looking forward to more videos like this!
