'dont start with a large game' - two years into making my first ever game (rthat is - my dream game), still loving it. It is already fun to play and stuff and I love working on it. But for me the goal is not to 'learn hosw to make games' but to litearlly 'make that one game' so yeah maybe im an edge case :D
