Watching your video/work is going to save me a ton of time on my 40x48 barn my brother. Thanks for making it!

looks awesome! very jealous. now that you're done you should check out titen HD concrete fasteners. theyre like industrial grade tapcons. you drill a 1/4" hole and use an impact to drive them in. so much better and easier than drop ins or the wedge anchors you used.

why did you put a header above that window in the corner? there is not head load on a gert in pole barn construction. only thing i could think of is racking / shear load. but those gerts are handling it.

Would you have run the girts horizontal across the post instead of vertical if you were using spray foam? I have about the same size building as you. It seems like it would be easier to do.

What did you do about the 2x12 at the top of your walls when you went to finish them with drywall or whatever? 7:39 . Shouldn't the walls be framed under that instead of behind it?

Hey Justin do you by chance have a materials list? Great build and videos, thanks

Shouldn't even need to do a header on that window. Just add in a sill plate beneath to run your jacks and kings into, with some cripples beneath and you'd be fine. Since there was not going to be any load above that window (bc it's a pole building). Looks well done, just don't see the need for that extra work and lumber.

What size concrete anchor bolts did you use?

Hey Justin is there a reason you went 16 on center vs using 24” rolls of insulation?

I am a bit confused on the order of things and the fast motion added to the confusion. So, no top plate on the one long wall, but you have installed the 2x6 across the posts at the top. Seems you then nailed in the 2x4s to that top 2x6 top first. It shows you measuring up there but I also see where your bottom plate is marked. How did you mark up/match up the top and bottom?

Those batter nailers suck. Pneumatic is much better and easier. I'd never buy that junk.
