I’ve been playing nonstop since release on the 15th, this game scratches every itch for nearly every kind of player. It’s easily the best mmo for console rn. Anyone playing who says this game doesn’t have hundreds of hours of story content is a complete lair and definitely skipped every dialogue and cutscene. New World has quickly become one of my favorite games, it’s just so damn fun.

Hard agree. My favorite features are the setting, story, and music, but I am hooked on the create-your-own class mechanic. It's a homerun, cozy, single-player experience with a lot of multiplayer potential, too.

For me a true MMO should have the ability to give you dozens of things to do in the game. Wanna make furniture, fish, cut rocks? Whatever it is you should have fun doing it . With New World at least right now it’s very addicting. And also the game has great environmental. If you actually take the time to look and listen.

Yeah I came back for Aeternum and I've been pouring hours into it. Everything about it feels so satisfying to do. I've had a couple of animation bugs here and there, but it'll take a lot more than that to turn me away from it. The server I'm in at the moment feels extremely alive with the sheer number of people adventuring, gathering, trading etc.

One thing I've noticed though are people blasting through to endgame and struggling to find teams because they rushed ahead. Hopefully they have patience till others start to catch up since it was a fresh start server.

It’s a great game. I’ve been 65 for about 5 days and I see why people say it falls off a bit but I got 90 hours out of it and I’ll come back for patches
And stuff but I def got my moneys worth and enjoyed it a lot. Now I wait for veil gaurd.

Dude I can't agree more, I've been playing MMO's for over 20 years. The first MMO I've played was Dark Age of Camelot. Trust me, I know an amazing MMO when I play it. People have no idea how good this game is. For how new this game is, its extremely impressive.

My first MMO was SWtOR, STO and then Warcraft, I got tired of Warcraft so I went back to SWtOR and I have not regretted it.

I'm glad the algorithm brought you to me, i fully agree with most of your points.

The thing that continues to baffle me are the amount of people who have THOUSANDS of hours in the game and have essay long reviews/criticisms over specific things within end game or state that "there is nothing to do".

With game time into the thousands I feel like it could be argued that...they did the content... they're bored because there's nothing else to do currently...because they did it. Being someone who works 40hours a week and has limited time to play...thousands of hours of content has me more than covered for the things i want out of an MMO.

My real criticism is I hope that the devs can be more communicative of development going forward with the relaunch than they have been historically.

I also am baffled by the cognitive dissonance about this game. Its a MMORPG with massive public events, battles, with skilling the likes of which weve not seen since runescape, with no subscription and a simple box cost. Yet, people act like the monetization is the worst thing imaginable.

It took eso 9 years to implement an activity finder for trials. Hopefully Amazon is faster with new world aeternum
