Kinda sad we live in times where I am no longer sure if someone saying "oh you need to play at launch cause this is the best experience I had in this game" is true or its because amazon needs nice numbers to report after game launches.

The combat in New World before the update was something I always wanted in an MMORPG. It's not just pressing 1, 2, 3 ect ect. You can actually move around, dodge and also have good aim. This game does take some skill and I do like that.

If you want good combat in an MMO, this is handsdown the best option. It’s so dynamic, since you only have 3 abilities they all actually matter- you don’t just spam like in most MMOs (like T&L)

Stopped playing several months after release and about 500 hours. It was fun and got my moneys worth. Just started again and I’m having a blast with the new weapons especially. Mounts and more fast travel points are nice as well. Looking forward to trying out end game. But I wished they added some different maps for OPR.

Was very wary thinking this may be a sponsored unreliable video, but your praise for the game both at launch on PC, and your sessions with Fex were enough to change my mind. I’ve heard very mixed things but usually it’s ranting about the same few things and overlooking all the good the game has. I don’t mind it not being perfect.

I don't know how so many people are being tricked into thinking this is a whole new game. Its like 90% the same game. They basically added some cutscenes, lock on, swimming, a raid and PvP zone. Its still the exact same MMO as before.

at this point i don't even give a fuck if i should play it or not, there needs to be limit as how much you should listen people online and critics about games, every goddamn fucking time someone or a whole community complains about any game that comes as fresh and i realised it is not about the game it is about people not having their fucking lives and activities, they are stuck only with the game trying to break the record to finish it ASAP and then when they have nothing to do they complain about the game

I stopped playing New World only because the only way you could get the end game weapons was to STOP soloing. I'm a solo type of dude. Also I never really understood end game with New World so the more I played New World, the more frustrated it became. Does Aeternum fix these two things? The only way I'd consider coming back is if it does fix these two issues.
