The only time you want to do it straight like that without hurting your shoulder is when you're doing it on the floor instead of on the bench, hence Floor Press.

Moved from working out at home in an actual gym and the very first day the trainer in there told me that the wrong position is correct. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Thank God i know what im doing or else id end up with shoulder injuries from learning the technique wrong
