Indiana judge overwhelmed with requests for Delphi murder case documents

Under state law, the probable cause affidavit in the Delphi murder case is considered to be a public document. On Nov. 22, the judge will hear arguments from the media and community seeking to unseal the public record.

It shouldn't have went to that court just saying send it to one of these 3 counties Hamilton, Marion or Hendricks Counties and no one won't feel unsafe to trial this case.

Why shouldn't we know? We all have banded together during trying times while searching for the accused, now they don't want to share? That is rude, disrespectful and disheartning. You shove us away now? Like we are dismissed?

This is the most bizarre letter from the judge that I have ever heard of 🤔 I feel bad for him but the unemployment issues of that court do not change the laws. He is breaking the law.

I hope to God Delphi courts can get the help the Judge has expressed. He did the right thing. I thought there was something darker behind the move but I guess not.

If they do not seal, they put their entire trial at risk. They must hold the cards close to the chest for now. People should excersize patience. It will all come out at the appropriate time.
