Love that you gave Bear bows so much airtime and not just showed the Mathew's, Elite, etc. Fred Bear wanted archery to be affordable for everyone and they still have good quality bows at affordable prices. Respect in my book. Nice review, Nate.

Started out with Bear bows, ended up selling my Paradox to a buddy that was just getting into hunting. I loved it, he loves it, and I got to join him on a hunt where he killed his first buck ever with that same bow!

I started the journey with a diamond bow I bought on Amazon ( my daughter who was 10 at that time, went to some school archery shooting, and wanted to have a bow, because “she was good at it” didn’t know much about bows, went to Amazon, and bought a bow ( compound… cause why not? ) long story short, I did my research and went to local pro shop. They adjusted it for my draw weight and draw length as best as they can(31.5 at draw) bow couldn’t even come close to that draw length) I started shooting leaning forward, and was splitting arrows! That bow got me into archery!upgraded to PSE package @ $540, and was, super happy with that set up! Now … I shoot a Hoyt Highline and a Mathews Atlas, for my hunting scenarios … getting into the trad bows with a satori) point of the long rant is …. Start small, and see whether you like it … if you like it, invest your TIME, get better with it, , , , price point or the mfg will not get the accurate results, no matter how many YouTube reviewers says so… a harsh bow can be a best teacher, while a highly equipped $2800 setup can make you lazy…. Learn the basics, and you got this! Best luck from the deep bottom of heart👍🏽and … for the creator of this video, Thank you for showing some budget friendly bows an aspiring bow hunter can grow to! Kudos!!1

Picked up my first bow this year. My local shop let me try all the bows in my price range. Ended up with the bear whitetail max, I’m very pleased with it and hope to grow with it. Swapped out the whisker biscuit for a vapor trail and added a small stabilizer to the front. My local shop encourages people to tinker with your stuff. They can always put it back if it gets out of whack

One day out of the blue, my 10yr old daughter told me she wanted to get a bow. I got her a cheap barnett vortex lite just to see if she would actually stick with it. We found our local pro shop (as I knew nothing about bows) and they gladly helped us get it set up properly for her. They even took the time to teach her how to properly shoot it. When they saw the cheep arrows that came with it, they gave her a few better ones to practice with. Even gave her a wisker biscuit that was a take off from another bow they set up earlier. They didn't charge me anything other than the peep it didn't come with. They just wanted her to have a good experience, and get another youngster into the sport. Now at 12yrs old, we just picked her up an elite ember, and they let her try every bow she was interested in before making the decision. I picked up a bear status, and one of our favorite things to do is have archery practice days. Shout out to Griffin Archery in Tyler TX! They have earned 2 new customers for life!

I shot a 2003 Hoyt Magnatec XT for 3 years as a new hunter. This will be my first season with an ss34. I can’t wait to get in the woods!

my local shop hasn't been great..while when shopping for my first bow they let me try out bows for free, they only let me shoot two bows. Now on top of everything else, my buddy gave me an arrow rest, but since I didn't buy it from them, the bow shop won't tune it...and when I bought it they said the first tune is free. So not happy with them...being a beginner with no bow press trying to tune my bow myself since there is only one bow shop within 100 miles of me has been, well lets say a trying and frustrating experience. /rant as you probably didn't need to hear that all...But I did buy an Alaskan XT and can't wait to actually use it when its tuned.

My bow shop is the best in the area by far. Flying arrow in Carmel NY. I shot all the flagships this year there. I wound up going with the Hoyt Alpha x 30. I shoot all brands I own three Mathew’s a Bowtech and now the Hoyt. I bought my son a Bear rth package and couldn’t be happier for the price point. I wish you were closer so I could come visit your shop. Always love the vids

I shoot a Bear Kuma 30. It's not a high end bow by any means but man, is it on point when I got it set up. Just love it. The bow shop i was going to didn't let you shoot anything. thry left them unset up for this reason and never had a whole lot to choose from. I stopped going there and using them in general.

My local shop lets you shoot whatever you want. I was probably there 2 hours shooting 5 different bows. They don't charge. I went from a Bear Whitetail Legend (single cam from a few years ago) to a lift 33 this year. Nate is not lying, it took a while to get used to those big aggressive cams when coming over from a single cam.

Iknow it is not mentioned here on the list, but Your videos probably convinced me that instead of Alpha X I will try to get the Elite Exalt 35. I fly from Europe to Oregon next month and if I will try and like it, and find a way how to get it with me back to Europe it is my plan to have it for the 3d field competitions here. Big Thanks for sharing good message about Elite. I feel even MFJJ was impressed by what Exalt is capable of.

Kinsey's Outdoors is the closet one that has anything. The last thing they'll do is help you. I'm thinking it's worth the drive/ride up to your shop. Wanting an up grade for something faster...Thanks

Great video, other than the pse stinger and brute I feel bear is best at economical archery gear

I’m still shooting the synergy, Nate. Can’t bring myself to sell it. I did like last years Mathew’s but I may stick with elite on upgrading

Good review and recap. I understand you can't carry every brand, but the most impressive mid-price bow I've seen is the Darton Consequence.
