He was just happy & wanted to play, he doesn't understand his size. Poor sweet boy. He's going to give the right someone so much love & loyalty and tons of cuddles.

I took a pit/mastiff mix from a girl crying in the shelter parking lot. She didn't want him killed, but couldn't keep him. Her boyfriend wanted him to be mean and he spent his first 5yrs of life tied to a tree. He wasn't treated right. He has PTSD, but I've had him now 4yrs and he's my BABY. I already had a pit/Lab mix so he has a brother that taught him to be a dog. He never had toys, a bed, or even knew how to use stairs. I would LOVE to have Casper! I live in Wisconsin and have acres for him to run with brothers that would love him. Just can't afford to fly and transport him. I pray he finds the right family or human to live his happiest life❤️

Dogo Argentinos, even while sweet are not for your average owner. They can be fantastic family pets, but they are not your average couch pibble. They want to WORK. They were bred for hunting BOAR. They have massive reserves of energy and need consistency. They need a kind but firm hand. Too soft and they'll run your whole household. Too hard and you'll have a dog who lashes out. They need consistent, kind leadership.

My family raised Dogos since the 70s. They are INCREDIBLE dogs. But it's like inviting an Olympic Athlete into your home. They need more than your average family can provide.

OMG!!! Any family would be lucky to have Casper. What a gorgeous boy ❤!!. Mine is 130 lbs. I find the bigger they are, the bigger the baby.
