The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. Chloe was such a good dancer with so much potential. The way Maddie noticed Chloe was crying before getting on stage and went over to give her a hug.. how sweet!

Chloe’s solo was beautiful, the costume was so pretty, but I think the point Christi is trying to make is that Chloe is capable of much more then what the choreography given to her showed.

Just a small detail I noticed at 6:46 Abby says to Maddie: "You understand that you just won this whole thing and you can win that whole thing. I mean, no pressure!"
That reminds me of when someone says something offensive and then they say "but no offense!"

The fact on her solos Maddie didn't seem to happy winning and didn't care especially on the second one where abby told her to smile, just proves she's so done and isn't having fun anymore.

I don’t understand why it would be a big deal that Maddie got 2 solos that happened frequently outside the show and even on the show too. What I do agree with is that Chloe was definitely set up to lose with her solo vs Maddie’s solo. This is also the start of Abby isolating Maddie from her friends and her getting Maddie to keep secrets. Abby is the sole reason why Maddie got that so much hate from the fandom.

I think both girls were exceptional dancers at that age. I sometimes think they gave it to Maddie because of how she LOOKED. Their choreography was beautiful but Maddie had these massive, expressive eyes and extremely doll-like proportions while Chloe was already lengthening out into a teen.

I think Christi was right in how upset she was Chloe's solo was definitely not nearly as technical or as good as Maddie's but she did the best with what he was given

Abby telling Maddie “to walk in there and have your nose in the air” just proves how horrible Abby was trying to make Maddie feel guilty for being so wonderful and sweet.

I love how you could see the tears in page's eyes while Chloe was dancing and the way Payton cheered for her

I understand that it was sneaky behaviour because they didn’t tell everyone that Maddie had another solo, but even if they did discuss this I’m sure it would have still been an issue. The moms wouldn’t have thought it was fair Maddie having 2 solos, each at different competitions so it would have just caused stress all week, I can imagine they’d have wanted the second solo pulled. Maddie looked stressed when Abby announced it and she probably didn’t want that all through the week.
