Pac-Man's Final Smash has a huge weakspot. With enough hitboxes you can simply make him stop in mid air, like with Bowser's Fire Breath or even Fox's Lasers!

8:22 This happens in Splatoon itself too, the little squid/octopus soul floats out upon death, and then flies into the spawnpoint as as the rest of your body forms from the ink.

A little quirk is that the Side Order DLC for Splatoon 3 always has you playing as an octoling, but if your player character in the rest of the game is an inkling, then the soul will still be a squid whenever you die in the DLC.

12:00 when you throw a bob-omb downwards, it triggers the spike hitbox, hence why peach got spiked despite being above it (also +1 comment for this clip!)
