As someone who isn't married, not planning to be in a relationship with anyone in the near future, and has pretty much no background with African or Finnish culture, I found this very interesting, educational and insightful!!! Thank you ladies!

If someone (obviously not Finnish) tells me he loves me after the second date night, I laugh and consider walking away. It's because for finnish "I Love you" means "I know you, and I still want to stay." Can't say it too lightly

In finnish culture, if someone has made the first move and the other one is not answering it by making the second move, it considered rude to keep pushing. This is the reason why finnish women can sometimes feel foreign are men rude and lacking respect with their perceverant approaches. No means no, and ignorance is a finnish no.

Very interesting video to watch as a finnish woman! You are all gorgeous. Thank you :)

My perspective is little different because I'm married to Nigerian and I'm Finnish (lady). He does help me out with laundry, folding clothes and cleaning. Sometimes he will also cook a meal if I was too busy or tired to do it. However I have heard that it's not that common or maybe the generation has changes little too. I don't know if African men have more expectations when they are married to African women when it comes to doing house chores... but I do think it also depends on the family they come from.

That tells something about your views, when you say that man is helping in home chores. The more Finnish perspective is that if you are together then the chores are also shared responsibility. You seen helping each other. You are taking care of shared responsibilities. You can of course make all kinds of agreements about who does what, but ultimately it is shared responsibility or then you really aren't a couple.

This was really entertaining to watch and listen :) I also live in Turku and as a finnish man we tend to think long and hard before doing the first move. Probably because we think that's the only one we have with a lady. Very nice to be an "insider" of this conversation

I love this last statement/fact.
"A MAN IS A MAN AND WHAT DISTINGUISHES US HUMAN IS THE ENVIRONMENT WE WERE RAISED IN"

As a finnish man, I think this is a funny conversation between women. And it's nice to be a part of it for once!! You know what I mean. ;)

Iove the discussion, it's true that Finnish men are not controlling and are good father figures. Say hi to my kenyan 🇰🇪 sister tell her amose.

As an American with Finnish and Norwegian parents and grandparents I can tell you that we are a very reserved culture and straightforward when speaking which is sometimes mistaken for curtness. If you are happy with your partners I think the greater part of how it works for you is that you ladies have chosen well.

A super lovely video and lovely ladies! I just found your channel and will check more videos. There is a lot we can learn about our culture & other cultures from having conversations together. We need to hear more talk from different people in Finland, not just from the typical Finns.

It was really fun and interesting to hear all of your thoughts! As a Finnish girl who is married to an Indian man (and living in India) I can say dating life and living with a guy here is different from Finland! :) love from Kerala, waiting for more videos!
