Finding a Basis for a Subspace Defined by the Span of a Set

Sometimes you can find a basis for R3 in a set of vectors from R4. In this video, I'll explain how to find a basis from a collection of vectors even if it's a basis for a smaller space than the vectors are in. I'll also show you how to find a basis for the larger space.
