Finishing the gas tank on the 68 Chevy C10

While the bed is off the truck, we also take advantage of this and work on the trailing arm bushings, and also the rear brakes.

The gas tank is a HUGE upgrade from what was in here already, even though the old gas tank was still very nicely put together (besides the filler).

The fuel filter location looks like a future nightmare to access with bed floor on seems better location under the cab, . Just my humble 2 cents after installing the tank in my 68th anniversary short wide.

Can you guys show where all the wiring for that tank went to? I have the same tank but need an ignition source

Did you put Teflon tape on the fittings that go into the tank?

Drill holes in the bushing and burn it out.

Can you awnser a couple questions for me man I’m having a whole lot of bs trouble installing my tank. So og tank had three lines one was capped and two run through the chassis one runs to the fuel pump on the block other Im not sure😑 Now my new fuel cell has three holes one with the pick up tube which I’m guessing that line goes to the fuel pump then one for the vent and another one for the return? Where those the other return line go or how does it go?
