Spray Painting a Matte Finish Motorcycle Tank // Becky Stern

I filmed this video a while back and just hadn't gotten around to editing it because the tank still awaits some custom art, a topcoat, and final mounting on Smokey's hardtail XS650. But hey, when that happens maybe I'll do a part two! This video chronicles the tank's journey from bare metal through two coats of automotive primer and two coats of Hot Rod Flatz matte automotive paint. So I want to paint my Harleyand I only have experience with rattle cans so I was going to give this contraption a shot, I think it's called prevail aerosol sprayer.But I got a quart of candy apple red and I probably shouldn't experiment on my Harley but was wondering if you have any tips. Thanks..

In California you can't put liquid paint in the trash. You are supposed to recycle it, dispose of it as household hazardous waste, or add an additive that turns it into powder. Nice paint job!
