Palpatine carrying Maul made Palps look like he cared for Maul but in reality he forced Maul to breath in Sith dust.

I’ve wondered for a while if maul eventually turned from the dark side and possibly went in a “Grey Jedi” type deal you know. he neglected to call himself a sith to Ezra almost ashamed to say he was ever associated with them. He tried to save and warn Ashoka about order 66 before and after they captured him. Idk I wouldn’t say he ever crossed over to the light side but i believe deep down he lived with some regret and attempted to change. I’d be surprised if ever showed as a force ghost!!

Palps trained Maul for 22years just for him to lose to Kenobi.
Then Palps goes like "Fuck it, I'll just steal a fully trained apprentice".
But Kenobi does the ultimate troll and stops Anakin from ever being able to reach his full potential.
10years later Kenobi shows up just to destroy Vader again.
Another 10years later Vader finally kills Kenobi, so that's it right?
Wrong, Kenobi's purpose was to start off Luke's journey to finally destroy the empire.

No wonder the first jedi Sidious wanted dead by order 66 was Kenobi.
