Maul was easily the best part of Rebels and one of the best parts of Clone Wars.

Maul rooting for Luke was a powerful moment that let you understand how much pain and suffering Palps put him through.

In the end he found peace in the arms of his greatest nemesis, he realized he was wronged by Sidious about the Jedi.

Maul really cared a lot for Savage. When they both fought against Obi Wan, Savage got his arm cut off. Maul prioritized helping him rather than taking down someone he absolutely hated.

Maul was a broken man filled with hate and used as a pawn. He was trained from birth in the dark side and was mortally wounded. By sure will power and hate he survived and his mind broken. He was found by his brother and in his twisted mind sought revenge on Kenobi. He made a crime syndicate and took over mandalor killing Kenobi’s love in the process. Since he was growing to powerful his once master killed his brother and tortured him. He was able to escape returning to mandalor and was hunted by Ashoka. Maul tried to warn her of the danger of order 66 but she didn’t listen. When he was captured he literally pleaded for death. When the order came in Ashoka freed him to better the chances of escape. He returned to his crime syndicate and ran that in the shadows. He went searching for smith artifacts but ended up stranded. Found by a group of Jedi with Ashoka being in the group he escaped. He learned Kenobi was still alive. He still was hanging on to that hate he found Kenobi. This was the last duel where Kenobi had to strike him down. In his dying breaths Kenobi comforted him. Maul know Kenobi was protecting something and knew it was the chosen one and was only confirmed by Kenobi. Maul took comfort in this letting go of his hate and finally rested in peace.

Maul is one of those one-off characters who grew to achieve so much rich lore from the creators and love from the fans. He's just... SO well written, and well voiced!!

Maul’s story really is depressing but it does have great moments like leading Mandalore. and ruling an underground syndicate also went on a journey to find himself and in the end maul found his peace.

Maul the most underrated Star Wars character. He is my 2nd favorite sith. 1st is Darth Vader because he is badass and Anakin is my favorite Star Wars character. Still Maul deserves more recognition, his backstory is so sad and overall a great character.

He was truly one of the most scared characters in Star Wars. Lost his brother, got cut in half, feel in a hole that was bottomless, was forgotten, left to rot on a trash planet, lost everything and everyone he knew. Just sad. Don’t get me started with Anakin though
