That is one of the most beautiful airplanes ever built. Yours is even better than when they came out of the factory. Nice work.

One of my favorite vintage private aircraft. That, and a pristine Beech, ' Staggerwing owned by Barron Hilton

Gorgeous, one of the finer restos I’ve ever seen on a 195!

What an exceptional restoration!! Truly outstanding in every category!!! The attention to detail is remarkable! You & all of your associates should be enormously proud to have been a member of this “Blast from the Past!”😂👍👏

I once had the opportunity to fly a beautifully restored example of of the C-195. I was completely surprised at how light it was on the controls. Great looking and flying aircraft.

Soooo, this has the "Shakey Jake" in it?
Super nice era airplane, it has what I also love about the cars of those years. They have those convenient human touches like the step that draws up and down as you open the door. It's fascinating just sitting inside and discovering what some human engineer thought up to make the thing, to use the current jargon, "more user friendly". That's how it was until bean counters and legal departments took it all away and replaced it with homogeny.
Now we have user manuals with the first five pages detailing how we shouldn't stick our fingers into a 120v socket.
Oh God, I'm ranting, stepping off of the soapbox now.

I had the pleasure of flying a 1947 C-195 over my hometown. A gentle giant for sure

I hope Dylan will continue his dad‘s legacy. No one else has ever been able to produce that quality of workmanship.

After riding in one, many years ago, that had the 330 Jacobs, I always thought they could use a 450 Pratt. Must not have been practical to do a conversion like that. I've never seen one. Beautiful beautiful classic, but a little doggie on power. But then, I was flying a Cessna 185 at the time.

Growing up on carved from a cornfield airstrip one of my neighbors had one back in the '60's, beautiful airplane.
Enjoy!
