The fun part is measuring the distance from the mounting surface on your hub to your fender lip then trying to determine how many millimeters of offset you need on a wheel who’s width is measured in inches to make sure it fits properly.

The most clear and concise explanation of wheel offset I've seen on YouTube. Trust me, I've looked at a LOT of 10-15min wheel offset explained videos and they use too many words making something that should be simple sound like you need to know trigonometry to understand it.
