It pains me to see so many people saying they miss donuts as vegans. I’m lucky to have several vegan donut shops near me and if you leave near a Whole Foods many of them carry vegan donuts as well (sometimes fried, sometimes baked) and if they don’t, WF bakeries are usually open to requests for what to carry, especially with vegan goods in my experience. Biscuit donuts taste more like biscuits than donuts but still an easy option for homemade.

I have a tip. Whenever you buy something always double check the ingredients each time you buy it. I used to buy the ham seasoning that was accidentally Vegan. I hadn’t bought it for a while, then got it again. I just happened to read the ingredients AFTER I used it, and now they have added pork. Funnily enough the new one didn’t taste as good which is why I only used it once. So just an FYI for the future.

Now, I'm not Vegan and I never plan to or want to be but-
You're legitimately one of the only vegan cooks I enjoy here. You're fun, and your recipes are neat. I've actually made these doughnuts with my Grandma before. The only difference being we made them smaller. We had powder, cinnamon, glazed, and chocolate.

I love that you are sharing easy vegan recipes! I love the loop holes too 🤭, but also make sure to check the ingredients on the sprinkles because most contain confectioners glaze which comes from the secretion of the female shellac bug, and dyes as well! I have only ever found one type of vegan sprinkles by Betty Crocker, but I live in a small town so maybe they are more accessible in larger places. Once again I love it!
