Insightful video with great tips.

Project-based learning has students actively engaging in the scientific method. As students are developing projects, they are observing, contemplating, forming hypothesis, developing ways to test their hypothesis, collecting information according to their generated framework, and then rejecting or accepting their hypothesis. If a hypothesis is not needed, their framework for understanding their subject-at-hand is still scientific or structured. Learning presented in this manner really may be viewed as a meaningful application or extension of STEM education.

If this approach wins on so many levels, what are some challenges for making this style of education the backbone of teaching? If its up to the teacher, depending on the teacher's context, transitioning to this teaching style adds lot of stress, pressure, and even maybe unrealistic expectations.

In this case, to whom should this approach of education be advocated: the teacher, the county school board, or the state representations responsible for deciding educational policies, voting citizens?
