Warren, officer sued for $50M over jail assault

A teenager attacked by an officer at the Warren jail is going on the offensive, taking the city to court for tens of millions of dollars.

These lawsuits should be paid from the police pension funds. That will make them think twice and held accountable by their peers when they decide to use excessive force on anyone.

The commissioner is asking "why did they have to file a lawsuit so quick, " and says the victim of the assault didn't have any injuries.
Yet not once does he question the egregious actions of the former officer, very telling.

The fact that the commissioner has a problem with the victim rushing to file a lawsuit appalls me. He Would have filed a lawsuit quicker than The victim did if he were in those same shoes.
