Why did the other cops not arrest him for assault and battery? Why were they not charged for allowing this to happen?

This is not just one cop, this is a culture.

Taxpayers demand bad cops pay out of their own pockets for unlawful abuses, even into their pensions!
It's barbaric for taxpayers to pay financial punishments on behalf of dishonorable and evil police people! ...
— QUALIFIED IMMUNITY IN ITS ENTIRETY: "MUST" be ABOLISHED" ...!

I'm wondering how many times in the past this creep has gotten away with it!

To protect and themselves! Plain and simple.

By assaulting the suspect, *this idiot cop risks tainting the case against the suspect, * not to mention that he just handed an accused carjacker an easy lawsuit!!!!

If a 16-year veteran is dumb enough to do this in front of a camera and other officers, *it's probably not the first time he's assaulted a suspect.*

How can you not associate other officers with this type of egregious outrageous action when 2 other Officers not only "STOOD BY" but helped the actual "OFFENDER" in his actions. Yet the Warren Chief states "This is not what the Department stands for". Those Officers aided and abetted the clearly "CRIMINAL ACTION". They should have wrestled him off the man immediately. Yet they let him continue his criminality.

That action doesn't compromise trust in the community because there isn't any trust to compromise.

What about the other two cops that stood around and watched him

But how about the two other officers who can be seen holding the suspect to the floor while he was being assaulted by Rodriguez?

The other two officers who were present, even though one of them spoke up to their chief to prompt the investigation, BOTH of them should have done so, and BOTH of them deserve charges of their own, for not intervening, because neither of them tried to stop him, they ASSISTED him with pinning the kid down and beating him

At 1:04 go arrest the other cops that did not intervene

Why they behave the way they do. Is it they think they are above law, they have qualified immunity

No mention of the two other cops that did absolutely nothing at the scene!!!

Imagine having to go home and tell your family that you were fired from your job of 16 years *and* got arrested by the Feds for punching a teenage suspect...

His very thuggish appearance tell us that he has criminal tendencies. I wish a long prison sentence for him.
