Nothing like the feeling of hitting that perfect rev match on a downshift

It's clear from the POV that you're fully turning your head and looking deep into the corner. Well done. A lot of new riders could learn from you.

I still remember when I rev matched the first time, super cool feeling of achievement.

It is indeed. I look up to doing it as precise as you one day.

Started out riding a Gen 3 SV 650 and learned rev-matching with a lot of practice. It is so much fun to do especially if you have an aftermarket can on the bike. Rev-matching is a big plus when doing track days. Thanks for the quick clip. Ride safe!
Cheers from the US!

Saves the clutch too😎 less friction on clutch release

Yep! I have one of these too. No quickshifter, no crazy power, but keeps me smiling

I tried to do this once, now im looking for a new motorcycle as my previous one decided to retire early. (im kidding) I really struggle with rev matching. When im on a long trip and i ride everyday for many hours, it starts to be fluent. But during autumn and winter with less riding, i just lose the ability to do this.. In general i prefer not doing it, as its extra things to do but obviously the sound and feeling of it is fun. And i dont ride as sporty as u since well.. im not that skilled and dont want to wreck :D

Schaaf was the reason I started to practice this. I'm riding for 1 and a half years now and I still haven't perfected it.

Am I the only one who constantly plays with the clutch bite point? Sometimes I think I found my sweet spot but then again I fuck up some downshifts, especially in lower rev zones

Greets from Austria & ride safe guys, great head movement! 🔥🔥

i performed a few decent rev matches on my ride today even

I always use rev-matching to prevent the clutch getting worn faster and this trick is kinda hard for those beginners/newbies. But once i master it, it gives me full control of the motorbike (i guess) especially when there is a tight corner ahead.

Especially on a Honda NC750 with its limited powerband 😂😂

I remember the vitpilen video with "ok guys I'm learning this stuff" and now seeing this, oh the friends (aka revs) you and us made along the way :D

How you rev match? After rev match do you use half clutch to take gear or just just rev gas?

rev matching while braking hard on a downhill, approaching an alpine road style hairpin (narrow and tight). That's a sphincter tightening experience while learning to do right, which I still don't, yet.

Hallo Schaaf, I have the same bike, same color and everything, but much quiter. I've looked at aftermarket exhausts but it seems there weren't any, at least last time I checked a few months ago. What exhaust setup does this bike havE?
