Magnitude 4.9 earthquake shakes Southern California

A magnitude 4.9 earthquake followed by several strong aftershocks were felt across Southern California early Monday afternoon. KTLA's Shelby Nelson reports on July 29, 2024.

No way that’s a 4.9, I was in the Carson 4.6 earthquake (3 miles from the epicenter) in 2021 and things flew off the shelf

Living here in California all my life you get so used to the earthquakes, however my dog noticed something I remember her running to the door.... And her looking back at me as if she was questioning life⁉️...The animals are a lot more in tune to this planet, our home than we are....

That wasn't an earthquake, the trashtruck just emptied the dumpster right outside my bedroom window . It always sounds like that .
