The biggest problem going this route is you have to wait for it to boot every single time. So instead of that, I just mount a 10.1 inch Samsung tab A. I use two of those very small circular magnetic phone mounts. Two small metal circles stuck on the back of my tablet, just stick the tablet to the mounts and that's it! No need to wait for it to boot!!

After trying this unit for a few days now I have to say it would be nice to be able to "uncuctomize" it for Tesla and "recustomize" it for our cars.

Yup is me a VW cabrio owner I have a 2001 VW cabrio MK3.5 or mk4 yup is tricky so 😁😁😁 I’m going to try, .. I seen the guy put in in a mk6 let’s see how it works for earlier models …..

brought this and it has a lot of problems 1. no video output on rca
jacks or the hdmi port 2. audio output through rca jacks are horrible i
notice china dont think americans will hook them up to amplifiers
signal distort little over half volume and volume changes between left
and right every day. output on speaker wires was ok it will due but i
have custom system so i need rca's to work i paid for it 3. while
watching movie/video it will switch back to home screen on it's own
sometimes open browser by it self they sent me update but made things
worst I would suggest dont buy this if you want one wait another year or
so maybe they will have it right buy then im out 500.00 because they
would not take it back and aliexpress sided with them crooks by the book

Have this unit in my 15 malibu, for a year and a half now. The screen is now rewinding itself on youtube music and cycling threw app, not touching anything
