I am 17, on my way to school this morning. Driving on a road, my turn is coming up, I slow down with my turn signal on and come to a stop cause there's oncoming traffic. I check my mirror to see someone flying at me, so I turned the wheel to the right and floored it, but it wasn't enough, it was a lady who hit me going 50 mph, texting and driving. Totaled my first car, I'm in a lot of pain and I'm really pissed off cause I loved that car and it's 24 years old, it's not replaceable.

At the time I’m reading this my mom just got in a accident, and here’s what happened. It was raining and my mom accidentally lost control, rammed into the concrete barrier and then we lost control and now we’re in wheat on a turn while it’s raining. Let’s hope god can save me and mom, and if I get home I will edit this. 🙏🙏 edit: I got home alive! Turns out the front tire was bent entirely. And most of the right was smushed in with the tire. A tire bar for the suspension or body frame idk snapped. We’re all fine.

I was in a car accident last night (8:30pm) and their was 8 people in the car (ages 13-18 (I’m 13(18yo. Driving) we were leaving a Christmas party and we were crossing the street to take someone home, the car that hit us didn’t have headlights on, so we couldn’t see them, their turned on the headlight wile we were in the middle of the road, and they hit us. We spun 90° and they crashed into a pole, all do the air bags went of and the passenger side doors were stuck, the car started filling up with smoke so we were all trying to get out, unfortunately the door was stuck my sister (autistic) was screaming and freaking out, so we could get the door unstuck she was able to get out form the drivers side, but I passed out from the smoke. I woke up to Sam (driver) pulling me out of the back. No body was seriously hurt, I had the worst injury (back & head hurts, I’m still shaking). Sam and her family are getting everything out of the car and doing other paperwork and stuff.

I had a crash yesterday the air bags came out and everything my dad had to open the door and are car was 2 moths old too

I would add a couple of other items:

1. Take pictures of all people in the other cars involved in accident and relate the people to the car they got out of.
2. Get a picture of anyone being loaded into an ambulance.

I'd like to add:
1) when exchanging information, make sure you get the information of all drivers concerned in the accident (multi-car). Name, cell number, driving license, car insurance, pictures of the damage, car plate number.
2) know that tow trucks are NOT allowed within 100m of the accident, unless called by the police. These tow truckers are ready to scam vulnerable people.
3) if your car gets towed, ask the tow guy to take your car to your residential driveway or your insurance's preferred body shop. These tow guys scam you into paying for storage at another body shop, tow, etc. They hold your car at ransom.
4) do not take a replacement car rental being organized by the tow guy, or any 3rd party. Take a rental from your insurance company. The scamsters verbally tell you one rate, and make you sign paperwork with more than double the rate they offered, with an additional $500 (+ tax) penalty for returning the rental earlier than signed up for.
4) don't sign any work order for car repairs. Get your insurance involved.
