Shin Conditioning EXPLAINED 🤔

Have you ever wondered how fighters can kick a metal pole without breaking their legs? You might have seen videos of fighters repeatedly hitting their shins against hard objects or kicking bags. This practice, known as shin conditioning, helps damage the nerve endings and the shin bones to reduce pain, allowing athletes to kick harder with less discomfort. Repeatedly striking heavy bags, rolling with hard objects, or performing low-impact kicks helps create tiny microfractures in the shin bones. As these fractures heal, the bone becomes denser and tougher over time. This technique is especially popular in Muay Thai where shins are essential for effective striking.
