I've come to the conclusion that everything works if the other person likes you but if they don't then nothing works. But I did see a story of a long time ago where a woman from Wisconsin went to Wyoming and met a man who had a small sheep ranch. She was a teacher. They met and she didn't really like him but she allowed him to write to her when she was back in Wisconsin. As they corresponded he kept asking her to marry him and she would say no. Eventually she said yes. She moved to the middle of nowhere Wyoming on his sheep ranch and had 3 children. They nearly lost everything in a flood and had to sell most of their belongings off to pay debt. He told her then that he wouldn't blame her if she left him and she told him that she would never leave him. She never did. This was a true story recounted by their children. So I think when it comes to love, there is no right answer. No right formula. It just happens. In many different ways. And then it is up to the two people to either stay that way or not.

Remember folks, these things only work if she's attracted to you, otherwise it's viewed as creepy. This is universal, men or women. As a white, blue-eyed American living in Japan, it's still not easy to date a Japanese woman here. But I guess that has more to do with the fact that I'm almost 40, bald, not confident, and not particularly attractive either. She can say that women want the stuff in the video, but the truth is that Japanese women want to date handsome men more than anything. If you're not handsome, then being rich is the next best thing. If you're not rich either then you'll probably have a tough time dating here unless you like much older women that may be divorced and have kids. I'm not saying that the stuff in the video isn't important, but looks and money matter more to women here than the other stuff.
