This is the most authentic vlog on filipino street food... No bgc or classy resto. Good job.

I loooove that you didn't go to the usual posh places and instead went for the very basic and the most relatable to the Filipino masses. This is why I have always followed you. OMG you have out done yourself, I remember the first video I saw of you was you cooking with your mom, some Filipino dish. Started following you then, you were still single and all hahaha then you moved to your own place then Kevin then Mija and the rest is history! Here you are now in our country. Never thought this day would come! Welcome and mabuhay 😁🖤

May I add I follow Jessica too and I was thrilled when I saw you two together 🙌🏻

I’ve watched a lot of vlogs of foreigners making videos on Filipino streetfood, and yours, by far, is the most extensive! I don’t comment a lot but I felt the passion in our food and culture in this video and I wanted to say that you did amazing. I loved how you kept saying po and kain tayo in all the places you visit and it’s these small things that make you feel that someone really is passionate about learning a country’s culture. GREAT JOB!

Out of all the videos (about Filipino food) of international food content creators out there, this video is THE ULTIMATE Manila food guide that one can get. Thank you for visiting the Philippines as well as trying out everything with utmost respect and appreciation of our food! 🥹

I am always so impressed by your extensive research, and I love how you aren't afraid to mingle with the locals and are so respectful of the way they eat. Nothing against other vloggers, but the mark of a great and AUTHENTIC one is the way you make an effort to learn how the local food is meant to be eaten. And the way you describe the food! Huge fan here!

What i love about dooby is that she’s honest if she likes it or not without offending anyone. She also explains the taste/compares it to something more known to most people; i appreciate that she educates her viewers about techniques used in cooking a certain dish, history of the dish as well as ingredients.
Im a Filipino and grew up in the Philippines, but she’s tried more food and restaurants in manila more than i have. Haha. Thank you for trying Pinoy food.

I love the “dog and cat cafe” part. I love stray dogs and cats and this is why I always tell people to “adopt not shop” pets because stray cats and dogs can also provide the same amount of love if not more.

Holy crap so given how it ended there's going to be more filipino content? Woohoo! Firstly, as a Filipino-American I'm the type who has only ventured into the malls to get food and rarely at the streets so the fact that you made a whole vid about Filipino street food really opened my eyes and now I genuinely would love to try all the spots you visited. Gotta say love the chemistry between you and Abi because Abi has that similar insight and knowledge about food like you. Of course I'm absolutely impressed with the great lengths you went to to make this such a rich and varied food journey (as you always do). The sense of respect for the culture was very evident and I love that about you. Much gratitude for making this content for the Filipino community and for those who have never experienced Filipino food. Lastly, those dessert drinks from Chunook's Kitchen had me salivating. I so want to try all of them. Looking forward to more Filipino content.

Thank you for being so brave and respectful and appreciative of our food! You didn't even go to the posh places, and it's making me so emotional seeing you enjoy the most humble part of our cuisine. Thank you so much for handling this with care. This was awesome. Please come back when you can! Other regions have so much to offer, as well. 🥰

Wow! That was brave and intense! To highlight Filipino food from their most ordinary sources is amazing. Your effort of going around Manila in four days is a lot of effort already. ❤🙌👌 It's not easy to go around under the sun's scorching heat. It is in itself a hella huge effort. After going to the islands, I'm sure you will keep coming back to the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤ And know that Filipinos will pay back kindness and support! Mabuhay!

I thought it was a joke for a second. The length of this vlog is like a documentary vlog. Thank You for sharing your experience and thoughts about our food and culture. This made my day. I might go home next year by watching this. Tina finally visited the Philippines. The first video that I watched on your channel was the Adobo shorts like that was 2 years ago where you had 50, 000 subscribers. 😭😭🫶🏻🫶🏻

I love how you chose to showcase the local eateries/carinderias and hole-in-the-wall type of places in your vlog. They truly show the essence and soul of Filipino food culture. Maraming salamat, Tina! 🫶🏽

really enjoyed this vlog and i feel kinda proud of you and of being Filipino! i really am awed by your courage in trying out new dishes because yes I am Filipino but I am a "Loser" like Jessica lol who doesn't eat adidas, chicken head and balut 😋 and that strong "stomach" for eating in the streets (hope your tummy is okay and also coz i think you reaaally ate a lot of dishes🤣). And I feel proud watching you devour Filipino dishes and enjoy it the way I also enjoyed those dishes!! ❤
i kept hoping that you enjoyed your trip in the Phils and now I saw how you and your family loved it, so Thank You!!! and hope you keep coming back ❤❤❤
