The last part put a huge smile on my face. "If you love her you have to marry her, go speak to her dad". Alhamdulillah!

I was arguing with my agnostic friend about the hijab and he said "He would never find a girl wearing Hijab Sexy". I told him that is the exact purpose of the Hijab. To not view women as sexual objects.

Hijab saved my life.
Before wearing the hijab I had eating-disorder (started when I was 7 years old) and later used 2 hours a day just preparing my makeup, clothes and hair.
I was constantly thinking about my looks and was constantly depressed because of this. I was looking at other girls and constantly compared myself with them.
I was so depressed and tired of the constant struggle to look Nice. I just wanted to end my life because I was so tired of myself.
Everything changed when I started covering myself with the hijab, now 10 years anniversary 🎉 if women only knew how much freedom hijab gives us, they would switch to it, especially the pshycological freedom. The constant burden of looking nice: makeup, hair, hairline, bigger lips, bigger thights and butt, smaller stomach, hour-glass figure, perfume, smaller cheeks, foxy eyes, thick eyebrow, poreless face, bronze skin, tight clothes, no double-cheek etc... OMG, do you call this freedom??? This is hell on earth! Freedom is wearing my hijab and walking outside my house and not caring about my looks or how other percieve it. My face and body is from my Lord, He decide me to look like this and I am thankful.
My hijab is my freedom, my life-saver.

I liked his one saying in another video with an Arab girl that,
" I rather become the slave of the one who created me rather than the man made society"

It shook me and the Arab girl pretty hard.

May Allah give you more khair and barakah.

As a woman in Hijab, I feel my life is easier, if I've to go out I just wear my abaya and cover my face and just go... I don't have to spend hours in choosing dress, doing makeup... and all that time wasting stuff to please people whose happiness doesn't matter for me at all... why I'd want to let people stare at me and feel awkward... I only want to look attractive to one man and that's my husband... if he's happy I am happy.
beauty is something which is not in anyone's power, people are born beautiful or not beautiful, if one is not beautiful its not what should hurt other people and that person have to hide or beautify oneself... its Allah's creation... and he choses best. others should not feel necessary to bully or look with contempt on such people who they themselves think are not beautiful.

I was so obsessed with my appearance and didn't feel comfortable in public, I always had this sense of inferiority because of it. When I started wearing the hijab permanently as a teenager, all those concerns and feelings of inferiority washed away. Let me be clear, I always wore modest and loose attire and never wore makeup. My self-esteem increased quite a lot and I was able to be comfortable in public. As a result my public speaking skills and confidence improved. Alhumdulillah, getting closer to my religion has made my depression manageable, improved the quality of my life and has instilled this unexplainable peace in my heart that I never thought I could have.

Basically, people dress to impress. Your dress tells people about how you want people to address you. For example, men wears suits to imply that they are on a higher level and to impress the women to be their partner. Women also wears beautiful and sometimes revealing clothes to attract the men to be their partner, also they wears makeup to cover up any visible flaws on the face as men are visual.

The only people that doesn't dress to impress are bums or someone that doesn't conform to other people's opinion. Because they have no intention of getting someone's attention to them and they don't care.

But as Muslims, we dress accordingly based on the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. Modest is the key word. Our dress are not to shiny and not to 'ugly'. We don't want to attract any unwanted attention while still look decent. That's what the Muslims have been preached all this while.

I encourage you (positively) to start cutting off people if they at some point keep dropping question after question, not letting the former question being answered properly.

It happens so often, and when it does, we quickly realize that there is a strong prejudice/bias. And that they are firing their questions only to dismantle or to judge. Please tell them kindly to let you go topic by topic. They are totally free to ask as much as they want, but please one thing after another. It would make for a way nicer conversation.
