I can see that he is having so much fun and I feel him too. Going to be 37 and finally taking my motorcycle licence, I've been held back by the joy of riding due to my parents forbidding me for years, especially my late dad. I'm still waiting for my L licence to be processed but meanwhile my colleague is teaching me during our spare time and boy the feeling of being able to finally ride, even just the basic 1st and 2nd gear is pure joy. I'm excited to get my L licence and get an instructor until I get my P licence. 😄🙃

Also remember when your at a high rpm on bikes like this, 4 stroke, don't gear down at high rpms usually around corners or roundabouts to gain momentum in speed as your clutch plate would wear down in the long run. And try not to rev the bike above given rpm and gear up as that too would wear down the timing chain and then the clutch plate, 4t good black oil change at 1000 for the first time and then at 2500 the second time.

Modenas Kriss and most cub bikes up to supercubs like the Honda RS and Yamaha Y15Z come with centrifugal clutches, making these semi automatic and you will not have a clutch pedal to work with at all. You will still need to let go of the throttle like you would do in a manual car to shift gears unless you're looking to put additional wear on the clutch plate. You will feel the bike jerk when shifting at higher speeds with the throttle engaged.

NEVER ever press down on the shifter for too long as it places additional wear as well. The shifter should only be engaged when the rider needs to change gears. The 'Push up from front side of shift lever' technique only applies to bikes with quickshifting systems which is non-existent in cubs.
