I never felt more naked in my life than the first time I sat at a red light in traffic without wearing my car.

Yo Chase I think i speak for a lot of people when I say that a video on "how to read cars" would be SUPER useful for new riders.

I’ve been riding motorcycles of all types for more than 15+ years but I still learn things from videos like these.

As someone who just started taking motorcycle lessons I am a bit scared to ride in traffic even though I've been driving cars for 10 years. The biggest fear I think we have as riders are cars. So watching someone ride and explain things as they go really helps with anxiety. Thank you!

6:10 I *highly* recommend staying in gear and using the clutch and front brake (for stopping, hold rear brake when stopped) as he said after this. If something happens and you need to get out of the way immediately, it could be the literal difference between life and death.

I watched this out of curiosity. I been on bikes for 22 years, and it NEVER hurts to refresh yourself. New rider or a seasoned veteran, everyone could use a refresher course, might even learn a new skill. I noticed, you ride exactly like I do. Yeah sometimes I get a little wild, but as my dad said “You have to get the big picture when driving and riding.” Best thing he ever taught me. And what he meant by that, ALWAYS look/watch ahead, behind, to your right and left, notice everything. Awesome video, super helpful.

the distance between you and the car in front of you at a traffic light is very important. If someone hits you from behind and you are too close to the car in front of you, you can end up between two cars and be seriously injured. So please keep extra distance at traffic lights

Truck driving for the past 10 years has done the same thing to me, I can predict the moves of most cars before they even make they move now.
That applies to one I'm in the truck, on the bike, or the rare occasion that I'm in my cager.

This series is great! But from an agency, we must tip our hats on the cinematography / production on the videos, great job. love the small details of the second/3rd angles and showing no videographer when the camera switches back. Love it.

I totally understand your point about not being able to learn without busy traffic when living in a big city. I live in central London. My solution- riding late at night. It’s an amazing feeling to ride the streets that are usually bumper to bumper when they are totally empty. Very well lit too.

I do not usually comment on videos but, this is one of the best videos I have seen on riding a motorcycle in traffic. As a new rider had a lot of concerns about taking the bike to the road and this video was amazing. Lot of important information. Thank you for putting out this content.

I'd just like to say thank you for doing these videos, man. The prospect of learning to ride is somewhat daunting, especially for some like me who has never been on anything with 2 wheels and a motor.
