- NHS bosses prepare for major disruption ahead of next week's ambulance strikes.

I don't use the trains to go shopping. This year I simply don't have the spare money for shopping. Like many others. Cost of living is to blame not the strikers.

I'm afraid they all have to strike at the same time to show how important they are, if there is little impact then what's the point in striking

All part of a tory government. 12years of austerity has consequences

If the government won't listen we will make ourselves heard in the streets. The public services got us through the pandemic while putting themselves in danger. We can thank them more than clapping, we must support their strike action and force the government to listen. I support our heros that keep our country running.

As long as it doesn't affect MPs pay and expenses, that's the main thing.

Most people do their shopping in the town centre where they live, they travel there by car or bus NOT train, bullshit

Can I ask what is the temperature at the parliament? We have about 13-14 before we turn our heating on. Go ahead nurses and ambulance drivers. Enough is enough of our politicians hypocrisy..

Respect the ambulance workers, and nurses . These people save lives they deserve a pay rise . Enough is enough of this government. Rishi sunak and his cronies are ruinning the country . The got no moral compass.

Oh Nothing to do with inflation, energy/fuel costs, and suppressed wages and falling disposable income for the last 12 years then?

I used a train today to travel onto town, do some Xmas shopping and travel home. No problems. The strikes mean reduced service, not no service.
