Grant shapps is a liar, he's not concerned about the working class people, who work hard for little reward, this tory government just want to help the greedy corporate companies. Help the needy not the greedy . Its a disgrace , these tory, s have got to go.

WOW £44k a year. I work on the railway so I need a massive pay rise along with the rest of the department I work in. Plus its more about change of job description that we are worried about. As for the union there doing a good job I Urge anybody to go and read the unions Web page

Why did no news channel question Shapps about the £50, 000 per year Pay Rise given to the head of Network Rail. Shapps opens his mouth and the lies roll off his tongue. What he did not say that the small company that accepted a deal, the deal was 20%. The average pay he quotes are utterly incorrect. The Network Rail negotiators are held back by Shapps, because National Rail is now in Govt control. What about the Water Companied, , where 7 out of 9 Chief Officers earn more than £1 million per year, and received £100, 000 bonuses. This guy is playing politics, trying to impress Truss, a wanna be Thatcher.

I work for the railway and the average wage is not even close to 44k, I'm in one of the better paid job's and I'm on 36k so who's earning 44k? I work with lot's of different departments and disciplines, and no one earns 44k so to say this is an average wage is completely rubbish.

Mick should send the vote to the members so when they vote no Grant Shapp can blame someone else bar himself.

I speak to people from all different part's of the railway, and I've not spoken to anyone yet that thinks this is a good offer, so the strike action will continue even if they do put it to the vote again.
