Pretty hard to trust people after being mistreated without any consequence to the abuser. How do we know the competence of the investigator?

I didn't get angry, but I did get upset. It was a conference call with 3-4 managers on the call. I am off work with pay. What you aren't saying is what the likely outcome will be? Are most people fired? Are people usually called back to work after an investigation? What I did is what probably most people do that work in a productivity environment. You need 10 more accounts to make quota. You stay an extra 30-60 minutes to make that quota so you won't be written up. Then, you are in trouble for being off the clock. It was never a problem until now.

I was shocked that I'd be suspended from Chang's in November 2018. I asked what happened that had me suspended. Management told me they can't go into details as they are investigating. They did the usual, escort employees out of the building. They clocked me out on my behalf. A week later, I got a call from HR (who was a grouch, BTW) about why I was suspended. Someone came across an offensive online story wishing two people the worst. My motives were discussed, these employees were jerks to me. They had to terminate me because my story had strong language.

this seems rather employer-friendly advice. once the employer has turned on you, you can't win by being nice

Is it lawful for an employer to put someone on an investigatory paid leave for one month + without telling what the reason is ? Union could not get any information from HR either.

Currently my job suspension case is in the ER(employee relation) stage. I didn’t do anything. A female associate filed a report that I have touched her butt at lunch break while other associates and 3 supervisors were at the presence. I didn’t recalled and felt my hand I have touched anything or any persons. No one will do this under this situation when supervisors are there. I was just eating lunch as usual. The woman associate were eating lunch with her group of friends, 6 ft on the left table away from me. Nothing happened, then she filed the report after the lunch. I know it is a mistake, and may be she planned it. I didn’t meet any investigator . Still saying under investigation for almost a month. My supervisor supported me. She is from the other team. I know I didn’t do anything. That may be is her planned setup? Should I fight it legally? Means, find a lawyer?

hello guys? I was suspend from work during the situation HR TOLD me I will notified within 48 hours(keep in mind pass more than 48hs)I come back to work I went back to my regular routine at work...to find out I drove 40mins to get there worked for 15mins just to find out I'm still suspended ahead back home..I feel like the company wasn't following the right procures toward the investigation) the only reason why I'm in this situation because I didn't know how follow the new procures for our new mental detector, I got call in for the HR Office, I was trying to understand why is the sensor going off on me twice on my break( state law that I have to take 20min break) (lost prevention team ) "response that i look suspicious "I got angry didn't wanted explained my story because I was upset...one thing if he tells me my actions were suspicious would be different I wanna get someone professional guidance before taking with lawyer(I live in Delaware )I got terminated for not following safety safety procedure(also two security guard were standing right next to each other why this safety thing only applying to me? its tough times right now I need help I lost my appeal termination.its my first experience going through something like this thanks..
